He conducted ethnographic&#13;\nfield research in Ukraine, Romania and Poland. His research focuses on&#13;\nissues of ethnic identity, social memory and socio-cultural processes in the&#13;\nborderlands in Central and Eastern Europe. Currently, he is implementing&#13;\nprojects related to Ukrainian migration in Poland, as well as economic&#13;\nstrategies in small local communities from the Eastern Carpathians. He is a&#13;\nco-founder of the WododziaTV collective, as well as the main originator of&#13;\nthe presented project, and the author of photos and field recordings. In 2020, he defended his doctoral thesis entitled&#13;\n&#8220;Refugee Crisis &#8211; An Anthropological Case Study of the Serbian Part of the&#13;\nWestern Balkan Route\u201d. Volunteer in pro-migrant organizations. Author of&#13;\nscientific and press texts as well as radio reports on migration and the&#13;\nEuropean migration regime. At the Institute of&#13;\nAnthropology and Ethnology of Adam Mickiewicz University, he is working&#13;\non a doctoral thesis on social ways of using the past in contemporary&#13;\nPoland. Co-author of a publication analysing interwar zoological&#13;\nphotographs of Wies\u0142aw Rakowski, author of the books &#8220;C\u1ee7 Chi Tunnels&#13;\nRestoration Report&#8221; (Photographic Publication of the Year 2020) and &#8220;&#13;\nHistoria Polski Workbook Vol. 1&#8221;, which is a visual commentary to the&#13;\nethnographic research currently conducted in Murowana Go\u015blina.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-group author\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"275\" height=\"275\" src=\"https:\/\/wododzial.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/ignacy-jozwiak.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2871\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wododzial.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/ignacy-jozwiak.png 275w, https:\/\/wododzial.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/ignacy-jozwiak-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 275px) 100vw, 275px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ignacy J\u00f3\u017awiak<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Ignacy J\u00f3\u017awiak &#8211; sociologist and social anthropologist (ethnologist), an&#13;\nemployee of the Centre for Migration Research at the University of Warsaw.&#13;\nHe is scientifically interested in labour migrations in Central and Eastern&#13;\nEurope (with particular emphasis on migration from Ukraine), the&#13;\nphenomena of transnationality and translocality, and the issues of ethnic&#13;\nminorities. He is also interested in national borders and borderlands. He&#13;\nlives in Warsaw, but his thoughts often go to the Carpathians. Co-founder of&#13;\nthe Wododzia\u0142TV collective and the originator of its name.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-group author\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\"><\/div><\/div>\r\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kamila Fia\u0142kowska<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Kamila Fia\u0142kowska &#8211; a migration sociologist, works at the Centre for&#13;\nMigration Research of the University of Warsaw. Her research focuses on&#13;\nemigration from Poland, in particular, seasonal migrations from Poland to&#13;\nGermany and post-accession migration to Great Britain. She is interested in&#13;\ngender relations and practices, the processes of building national and&#13;\ngender-related identities, and methods of qualitative social research.
