Almost always, there is a team of people behind the implementation of each project. \nAlso in the case of Broadcasting from the Forgotten European Borderlands: \nCarpathian Watershed in the Polyphony of Voices, a group of specialists gathered \naround the project – socio-cultural anthropologists not only experienced in research in \nCentral Europe but also involved in photography and field recording. Therefore, we \npresent to you our team, which implemented a project related to memory at the foot \nof the Carpathian watershed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tomasz Kosiek<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The project originator<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Social and cultural anthropologist, assistant professor at the Institute of \nHistory of the University of Rzesz\u00f3w (Poland). He conducted ethnographic \nfield research in Ukraine, Romania and Poland. His research focuses on \nissues of ethnic identity, social memory and socio-cultural processes in the \nborderlands in Central and Eastern Europe. Currently, he is implementing \nprojects related to Ukrainian migration in Poland, as well as economic \nstrategies in small local communities from the Eastern Carpathians. He is a \nco-founder of the WododziaTV collective, as well as the main originator of \nthe presented project, and the author of photos and field recordings. Robert Rydzewski<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Social anthropologist, migration researcher, assistant professor at the \nInstitute of Anthropology and Ethnology at the Adam Mickiewicz University \nin Pozna\u0144, and member of the Centre for Migration Research of Adam \nMickiewicz University. In 2020, he defended his doctoral thesis entitled \n“Refugee Crisis – An Anthropological Case Study of the Serbian Part of the \nWestern Balkan Route\u201d. Volunteer in pro-migrant organizations. Author of \nscientific and press texts as well as radio reports on migration and the \nEuropean migration regime. In the project, he was responsible for editing \naudio recordings.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n

Micha\u0142 Sita<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Micha\u0142 Sita – documentary photographer and curator. At the Institute of \nAnthropology and Ethnology of Adam Mickiewicz University, he is working \non a doctoral thesis on social ways of using the past in contemporary \nPoland. Co-author of a publication analysing interwar zoological \nphotographs of Wies\u0142aw Rakowski, author of the books “C\u1ee7 Chi Tunnels \nRestoration Report” (Photographic Publication of the Year 2020) and “ \nHistoria Polski Workbook Vol. 1”, which is a visual commentary to the \nethnographic research currently conducted in Murowana Go\u015blina.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n

Ignacy J\u00f3\u017awiak<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ignacy J\u00f3\u017awiak – sociologist and social anthropologist (ethnologist), an \nemployee of the Centre for Migration Research at the University of Warsaw. \nHe is scientifically interested in labour migrations in Central and Eastern \nEurope (with particular emphasis on migration from Ukraine), the \nphenomena of transnationality and translocality, and the issues of ethnic \nminorities. He is also interested in national borders and borderlands. He \nlives in Warsaw, but his thoughts often go to the Carpathians. Co-founder of \nthe Wododzia\u0142TV collective and the originator of its name.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n

Kamila Fia\u0142kowska<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kamila Fia\u0142kowska – a migration sociologist, works at the Centre for \nMigration Research of the University of Warsaw. Her research focuses on \nemigration from Poland, in particular, seasonal migrations from Poland to \nGermany and post-accession migration to Great Britain. She is interested in \ngender relations and practices, the processes of building national and \ngender-related identities, and methods of qualitative social research.
